Bedtime Stories (Android app com.malikoglu.bedtimestories) · Last updated: September 28, 2026

In short: Bedtime Stories is designed for families with young children. We do not collect personal information from children, we show no ads, and your child's name and profile never leave your device.

Information stored only on your device

Information we process

Children's privacy (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, no social features, no chat, and no links that lead children out of the app without a parental gate. Settings, subscriptions and ratings are behind a parental gate.

Sharing

We do not sell or share personal information. We use the following service providers only to operate the app: Google Play (purchases, app updates, ratings) and Google Firebase (anonymous analytics).

Data retention and deletion

Local data stays on your device until you delete the app or use "Replay onboarding" in the Parents section. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (maximum 14 months). Subscription verification records are kept while a subscription is active and for up to 12 months after it ends for accounting purposes.

How to delete your Bedtime Stories data

  1. On-device data (child profile, favorites, reading progress): open Parents → "Replay onboarding", or uninstall the app.
  2. Server-side data (subscription verification record and the random installation identifier): email [email protected] with the subject "Bedtime Stories data deletion" and your Google Play order number (GPA.…) if you have one. We delete these records within 30 days. Records required by law for accounting may be kept for up to 12 months.
  3. Analytics data: it is anonymous and not linked to a person; it expires automatically after at most 14 months.

Cancelling a subscription is done in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; deleting data does not cancel a subscription.
